Our Vision
We envision BP-Tagaytay as a social center that helps build empowered and self-reliant communities that give witness to universal brotherhood.
Our Journey
Founded in 1983, BP Tagaytay Foundation is a part of the Focolare Movement, an ecclesial movement within the Catholic Church, focused on practicing the culture of giving. Originally established in Tramo, Pasay City, the foundation has been dedicated to helping poor communities by providing basic needs and restoring dignity to those in need. In 1985, the Bukas Palad Social Center was established in Tagaytay under the Focolare Movement for Women. In April 2019, it was officially registered as BP-Tagaytay Foundation, Inc. and in June 2021, it was licensed as a community-based social welfare development agency.
